This quilt was made from a Robert Kaufman pattern created to showcase their Florentine line of fabric. The matching stripe was perfect for the borders. I used EQ to try out several colors of corner settings and saw that the blue would make the quilt “pop”. Imagine my thrill when it won a blue ribbon for machine quilted quilts in the 2009 Florida State Fair, my first entry in a judged show.
