I designed Floral Fantasy in EQ7. I added over 80 quilt possibilities to my sketchbook before I finalized the design. The finished quilt is a combination of traditional piecing techniques, machine embroidery and applique. This quilt won 3rd place at the Northwest Quilting Expo in September, 2012. My embroidered blocks are designs from Pictogram Party by Judy Nowicki. The traditional quilt block design used to enhance the setting triangles and quilt center were featured in Marti Michell’s Romance Continues 2011- 2012 BOM.
