My sister and I were inspired by my mother’s love of bluebonnets to design this quilt. My sister designed the fabric from a photograph of bluebonnets and had it custom printed. I designed the quilt blocks and the layout in EQ8. We worked together to piece the quilt top and had it quilted by Janet Norton. It won second place in the pieced quilt by a group at the Ogallala Quilt Show this weekend.
