A fellow guild member gave me 20 squares on which she had appliqued a blue dress. My task was to put them together in a quilt and embellish them. I took the squares and set the applique in a circle that I set in a block using fabric that matched the dress. I had lots of fun embellishing them with ribbons, beads, yarns and buttons. After the quilting, I used fabric paints in the quilting designs.
