This quilt was made as part of an Island Batik Ambassador Challenge using the Accuquilt North Carolina Star die. I recreated the NC Star block in EQ8 and altered the corners of the block creating three sections to paper piece instead of using a solid piece of fabric for that section. I also played around with sashing to create long diamonds that help create the stars between blocks.
