I do use a calendar as my wallpaper or background but I draw them directly in the ‘Paint’ program that comes with Windows. I prefer to keep the calendar restricted to half or smaller portion of the monitor screen. That leaves the rest of the area for large icons. This one for September 2010 fits the bill nicely.

Nothing original here except the one-block border I drew.
