Swarming honey bees in my apple tree made for an exciting day in May 2007.

Hundreds of honey bees were in flight circling around me besides those on this limb. Swarming honey bees do not usually sting unless the queen bee, hidden inside the swarm, is threatened. I had a bee keeper come collect the bees into his hive.
