The picture is of a historic farm at Upper Canada Village and it is surrounded by the Water Wheel block. So I could continue the road into the patched areas the block was divided in half diagonally so each half of the block could be colored appropriately..

This is a great use of color! The green of the field ‘escapes’ the photo and travels down through the quilt, taking the eye with it. Good going, Judy!
