The layout used in this quilt is a basic Horizontal 4x4  filled with the same Four Leaf Clover block throughout.

The design is achieved by varying the fabric placement in each block.  I wanted the center of the piece to contain the most vibrant colors and patterns and the edges to have a more muted palette.  Additionally the fabrics in the corners of the blocks (which create circles when placed side by side) were rotated so as to simulate balls rolling across the quilt.  The exception to this was in the 2 focus blocks which use the same fabrics in all corners and inverse fabrics in their centers.
