I picked two blocks with triangles and squares from the EQ Libraries, Old Maid’s Ramble and Mosaic No. 19, and alternated them in an on point set.

I envision this quilt in scraps of Dutch traditional dress, like a few old people still wear. Hence the name, Old Dutch Maid’s Quilt.

For this challenge, the Old Maid’s Ramble block uses 3 inch QST’s, but if you would make this block, the grain of QST’s would not be ideal for the inner triangles.
