Fall is not my favorite season. I prefer the hot days of summer with bright blue skies and beautiful flowers. So, designing a quilt using fall fabrics was a challenge. I was drawn to the brighter, clearer selections, and as you can see, I still used an abundance of green.
The pattern created by alternating the two green fabrics reminded me of early fall fields of corn and soybeans. Flying over those fields are the Canadian Geese in search of a winter home.
