Keiko Goke is an internationally known art quilter who lives in Sendai, Miyagi prefecture, Japan, which was the epicenter of the March 11th .9 magnitude earthquake. She and her family and their house were safe, but I’m sure their lives are forever changed.
Keiko’s art quilts often incorporate hearts, very colorful fabrics, and lots of hand stitching. I used some fabric she designed in this quilt.
