I was inspired to designed these applq’s after research on Jacobean Design. I then created wreaths with multiples of the same designs. The interlocking ovals as well as the scalloped edge were created with the wreath function. I can see this design interpreted as; a trapunto wholecloth with designs colored in acrylic textile medium or it could also be interpreted as an applq’d wholecloth. (This is my 2nd entry of my 1st challenge.)
