In the interests of keeping the file size small I have used the same fabric throughout but I think these quilts would be better as scrappy quilts using all the remnants of old dresses as they would have done in the 1930s.

Sitting at a treadle sewing machine in front of a sunny bedroom window, using quilt pieces cut from a couple of old smocks … In my mind I can still be RIGHT THERE …
