Starting with one of my favorite classic blocks – Storm At Sea, I used Barb’s suggestion to customize the EasyDraw Node Select option to easily edit the block at a number of the original intersections. Placing the altered block in a simple 4×4 Horizontal layout created a secondary pattern in the center.   A border from the AutoBorders>Miscellaneous surrounds the center blocks.

I also designed a much more complex design by using Serendipity>Kaleidoscope Block placing it in the center and surrounding it with a border of the altered block.
