I wish the Japanese people good luck, well-being and happiness. I read that the crane is a symbol of these things to the Japanese, so I decided to use cranes in my design.

The pickle dish border symbolizes the sour times the Japanese are experiencing because of the earthquake, the tsunami and the nuclear disaster.
