I used the Rainbow Logs block from the library for both my quilts and applying the two techniques gave very different results – you’d never think they both had the same origin. Using Shrink and Flip here gave me a new block – Rainbow Grids. I left the colouring as it was, because the taupe really worked well with the rainbow triangles and calmed the whole thing down.
