For the New Christmas Blocks challenge I drafted applique blocks with holly and baubles. I copied and pasted the same elements to different blocks.

In this quilt you see a block with a Christmas piece with baubles, holly and a burning candle.
I resized the entire Christmas piece to be able to use it on a different scale for a layout with the same size blocks.

I designed the layout myself. I drafted it as a block and used EQ’s Create Quilt from Block function so that I could set my blocks in it.

I think every Christmas quilt needs stars in it, so I added stars from the EQ Libraries in both quilts. In reference to ’12 days of Christmas’ I used a 12 point star.
