I used nine different blocks from EQ’s ‘bugs’ collection. I re-sized and/or tilted most of them. I surrounded the blocks with the ‘Checked Corners – Grid of 3′ auto border. This was just for fun. For the irregular part of the challenge, I used a type of virtual border that I once designed for a Round Robin quilt back in 2007.

The color scheme is red, white and blue using both Shades & Tints and Grades features.
