Sometimes quilts just have a mind of their own and it sure is true inthis case. I started out thinking I would do a quilt for July 4th. Red White and Blue. First a searched the librariy and found the fireworks block. When I set them side by side to see what kind of sashing would be appropriate, I was drawn to the possibilities for design if I replicated the simple kaleidoscope block in the block center.
I started playing with my patriotic color ways and it just did not work. So I “shopping in Stash. most of these fabrics ar from Timeless Treasers Bluee Grass line. Hence the quilt’s name.
This quilt is actually very do-able with the help of two cutting tools, Deb Tucker’s Rapid Fire lemoyne Star and Corner Beam rulers.
