I redrew the Bluebird block from BlockBase so it was a pieced hexagon motif. The base of the quilt for the layout was the one-patch hexagon. Blocks were set on Layer 2.
NOTE: If you like to use pieced hexagon blocks, save this layout to My (Layout) Library. A CTRL+click will allow you to set other hexagon motif blocks into position on Layer 2.
