Original Applique wreath updated from my Block in QuiltMaker’s 100 Block Issue 2.  I’d combine the easy applique with embroidery for this summery throw.  The fabric I chose were Minick and SImpson’s Bar Harbor and Grant Park. If I go to make this now, it might be a challenge to find soft sun-washed “patriotic” fabrics.  This is best viewed with the blocks and patch lines off, but turn them back on to see where the blocks rally to start and stop.  Isn’t that the fun of designing two block quilts? Making the viewer wonder Where?
