I should have added to my comment (wish there was a way to edit a comment)….In no way can an alligator ever raise it’s tail like that, but it really does make the Yard Dog title fit appropriately.

I had to laugh at your comment. In South Louisiana, we call these “Yard dogs”. I would probably make this quilted item and name it Louisiana Yard Dogs.
