This quilt was designed for a quilt show challenge by Mapke Grove Quilters. It was also originally designed in EQ6 (before the new fancy tool of drafting these curved flying geese was available). The quilt itself was pieced using hand-died fabrics purchased on a trip to South Africa.

Beautiful quilt. Not really a fan of making the flying geese blocks but I love them in a quilt. I also love the geese.

BTW I also drew my curved flying geese manually in EQ7 not realizing there was a tool available to create them until after I had completed my design. Live and Learn!
