I began with a special effects layout from the library. I tossed in a few border style blocks. I began adjusting the border styles. I did find I had to work with some quilting stencils to fill in the open space.  That was “my challenge”  this month.  I am finding it most effective to design with the solid colors and save the fabrics for the real thing
