I finished by using QAYG. Each blocks were quilted with my Babylock Sashiko machine.
I used Moda fabrics, Wordsmith by Janet Clair and the background is Grunge and wool bating.
It was my goal to do last year, started Jan.1, 2019 and finished in Nov. 2019.
My quilt was accepted to the Paducah Quilt Show (first time entering) but its been postponed.

Breathtaking! The simplicity of the colors used really emphasizes each block and that border is just wonderful – it looks like a forest of Christmas trees.

I can see the care you took in the placement of the blocks. The diamond shape of the darker value blocks shines through.
It reminds me of ice crystals on the egde due to the fact that you kept the alternate triangle the light background colour.
You have truely made this quilt your own. In keeping true to the original but having your own twist on it.
Love the colour, the play with value and the individuality of your quilt.
A very lovely heirloom to be handed down in your family.

Dear Ms Kim,
Please allow me to say that I believe your quilt to be, beyond a shadow of a doubt, one of the most beautiful quilts I have ever seen. Your color choices are phenomenal. I don’t know the appropriate language here, but the complement and/or contrast of the colors is perfect! At least that’s the way my eyes see it – perfection, your perfection expressed in your quilt.
I don’t believe my words are adequately expressing my thoughts and feelings about your quilt and your talent. But please know that I stand in awe. I thank you for sharing your talent and your quilt. You are unique. extremely talented and I hope that you will continue to share the beauty and the skill of your talent any and everywhere you have the opportunity to do so.
May God continue to bless you-

Hi Serena, I absolutely love your quilt and the colours you’ve used – are they all different shades of olive green? If you had a kitset I’d buy it! I’ve only been quilting for two years but sewing a Dear Jane quilt is on my wishlist. Thank you for your inspiration. Best wishes, Dianne

I have been admiring the progress of a friend nearing completion of this quilt and it it the most beautiful quilt I have encountered. If this were available in your colours as a kit I would love to purchase.
