Another EQ Academy in the books… and this one may have been our favorite! 
Students learned SO much from the awesome teachers and we loved seeing the quilts they designed! We had about 80 students at this EQ Academy and many were “EQA alum!”
Thank you to all the students for coming! We hope to see you all back for our Fall EQ Academy! We’ll have beginner classes as always, and some fun, topical classes too. If you enjoyed your time at EQ Academy, tell us in the comments below!
If you’re interested in coming to a future EQ Academy, sign up for our e-mails to be notified of enrollment. Fall EQ Academy is scheduled for September 26-28, 2019 and we hope to open enrollment in July. Watch for details via email and the EQ Classes website. This was my 2nd EQ8 Academy and I am thrilled with all I learned. Barb Vlack is an amazing teacher, and so knowledgeable about EQ8 and quilt design. I am super excited about designing more quilts now that I have stepped up to a new level with EQ8. I also want to redraw some of my earlier designs now that I know more about the software. I look forward to returning to Ohio for more great learning experiences. Thank you for providing this in depth program. Please keep it coming!!

I have been to EQAcadmey as a student and as an educator. I always learn something new from students and fellow educators. The support of the EQ staff really helps in the classrooms. I love attending this annual event! I would recommend it to everyone.

EQ Academy was a blast!!! I love seeing all these amazing quilters designing amazing quilts right out of their laptops! This was such a fun and inspiring experience! The instructors know their stuff when it comes to all things EQ!

First EQ Academy, but hopefully not the last. Lori Miller was an awesome teacher and I learned SOOO much. The location was perfect as was the venue for the class. The support staff was incredibly helpful.

An amazing, jammed packed weekend! I am blown away by all I learned in 4 days. I have had other EQ programs, there is just nothing to compare with the ease and power of EQ8! Huge thank you to such well organized, prepared friendly teachers & staff. Looking forward to attending again in the future!

My first EQ Academy and I did the 2 day beginner with Lori and she is an amazing teacher. I want to come back and learn more. I am wanting to become an instructor because we don’t have any in my area. Hopefully I will be able to come in the fall if not then next year I will be there.’

Third EQ Academy for me and I think the best one yet! Barb Vlack is a terrific teacher. The class handouts were concise, to the point and easy to follow! I came home and have actually designed several quilts in the past two months! I look forward to attending more!
