Hello and welcome to my stop on the 100 Blocks Blog Tour! It’s the 10th volume, which means they’ve hit 1000 blocks in this fantastic series. I’m so excited to be a part of it!
Here’s my block, #927 Spinning Stripes:
My block was also used in the Stellar Sampler quilt on page 8. You can see it right there next to Carolyn on the Editor page!
I just love it in those beautiful batiks!
Spinning Stripes is made up of the same foundation-pieced unit repeated and rotated around. If you rotate the unit differently, you can get some other fun results!
As I’ve been following along with the blog tour, I’ve noticed many fellow EQ7 users! You should definitely check them out:

Good morning from the sunny south…
I don’t do the social media thing. I get newsletters and group digests from my sewing machine groups that I’m a part of but I might be one of the last people on earth to no do FB or Tweet, or any of the other things. I don’t have a google acct (which means on some of the blog hop stops I’ve not been able to leave comments). Email and newsletters will have to tell me what’s going on in the world. I’ve got to have time for my fiber habits… tatting, bobbin lacemaking, sewing, knitting and crochet… I had to give up something and social media was it I think it was a good bargain.
