free + EQ7 software lesson + online magazine = fun!
Be sure to check out the Spring 2011 issue of the free online magazine Quiltposium. Andrea wrote an article about one way to design Hexagon quilts in EQ7. Lots of fun pictures and ideas.
There are over 180 pages to the magazine this Spring and it’s all free content. Visit www.quiltposium.com to sign up to get the article. You can also read past issues online.

Thanks SewCalGal! There is another way to do these blocks, if you check out pages 188-191 of the EQ6 Pieced Drawing book. Patti Anderson shows a way to do it with an alternating strip styles in a Vertical Strip Quilt and non-skewed blocks. It’s easier to draw the hexagons in her version, but there are some extra seams through the alternate triangles.
