I thought it would be fun to take a moment this Monday and design a little quilt with houses and snow on the rooftops, maybe some trees. Then I remembered, “duh. Town & Country Patchwork has them already.” So I went in and found this cute tablerunner under Mountain Trails > Autumn Evening Wall Quilt, and recolored it with snowy fabrics and lots of blues.
What winter projects are you working on?

This is stunning. So if I buy that program, I too can design this runner?

Yes. Town & Country Patchwork is a stand-alone design program that is project-based. It has foundation piecing instructions for all 30 projects. You choose a project, switch out blocks, modify borders, recolor and print. All the projects are house, cabin, church, farm, and school themed. It’s on sale now – half off. Each quilt project is about $2.00 at the new price.

I love Cori Derksen & Myra Harder’s work. They also publish patterns under the name Blue Meadow Designs: http://bluemeadowdesigns.wordpress.com/
