H ave you heard about Quilts for Kids? It’s a great organization that donates quilts to children with life threatening illnesses. Their mission statement reads: Transforming discontinued, unwanted and other fabrics into patchwork quilts that comfort children with life-threatening illnesses and children of abuse.
So if you are looking for a new project to get started on consider using your fabric stash on a good cause! Volunteer quilters can request a kit and make a quilt to send to the organization for distribution.
