An old children’s book, Matilda MacElroy and Mary, became the inspiration for a quilt designed by Carol Skrube of Sheboygan, WI. The book was her granddaughter’s favorite and the two share fond memories of reading it together years ago. So as a gift and sweet sentiment, Carol designed the quilt in EQ6 and drew the mice to resemble the mice in the book. She lovingly made the quilt for her Granddaughter who is now 28 years old. Carol says she still keeps the book tucked away in case her granddaughter ever has children of her own. What a great place to pull some inspiration and such a fun keepsake to pass down through generations. Thank you for sharing with us, Carol.
