We just heard about a new book from C&T publishing written by quilt designer Terrie Sandelin. As a long time EQ6 user, she’s no stranger to the program. She uses EQ6 for all her designs and even teaches the program to others. All the quilts in her book were designed in EQ6 and we’re so proud of her accomplishment! Read what Terrie has to say about her new book:

“First off, THANK YOU so much for the wonderful program!  I’ve been an EQ user since version 3 and, of course, like everyone else, I just think it’s gotten better and better.  I have loved playing with it for years.  About two years ago, I was playing with Anita Grossman Soloman’s Fold and Sew technique and used EQ to apply it to miniature quilts.  It worked beautifully.  I had so much fun as I was able to explore lots of design possibilities using EQ.
C&T Publishing will be releasing “Miniatures in Minutes: 24 Paper-Pieced Projects, Complete Your Quilt with a Single Foundation” the latter part of this coming January.  I am just so excited and it’s really true: without EQ, there would be no book coming out.  I used it to design all the quilts in the book.  But even more than that, all those years playing with EQ had made it a habit to have fun creating my own designs. I teach classes on using EQ and it’s always such a treat for me when I see quilters light up when they start seeing the possibilities.
So you can see, I’m attaching an image file of the book cover.
So, thank you again.  I’m still designing miniatures and I’m still using EQ to do it!”

Sincerely,
Terrie Sandelin
