I live in a small town in the south-west of Western Australia with my husband and four daughters.
Fabric and craft have always been a part of my life. As a young child I remember playing around with scraps of fabric at the feet of my grandmother as she sewed. I began making my own clothes as a teenager and I was soon making soft toys to sell. It was inevitable that I would discover quilting. I made a quilt as a teenager and a couple while I was teaching in remote communities, but I really became addicted when I was pregnant with my now teenage twins. I was soon designing my own quilts and writing patterns.
I was so excited when I discovered EQ6. It made designing so much easier and gave me the confidence to put a book proposal together. I now have three published books with Martingale: Strip Savvy, Striking Strip Quilts, and Scrappy and Happy Quilts and many quilt patterns in various magazines and all of my quilts are designed in Electric Quilt.
