1. Add node(s): Click the button to add a node to the selected segment. The node will be placed centered between two existing nodes of the segment.
2. Delete node(s): Click the button to delete the selected node from the segment.
3. Join two nodes: Click the button to join two separate nodes together. Be sure both nodes are selected by clicking on the first, then hold the Shift key, and click on the second.
4. Break curve: Click the button to separate a curve into two segments at the selected node.
5. Convert curve to line: Click the button to turn the selected straight line segment into a curve.
6. Convert line to curve: Click the button to turn the selected curve into a straight line segment.
7. Make node a corner: Click the button to make the selected node a corner. This locks one of the handles in place, creating a cornered affect.
8. Make node smooth: Click the button to make the curves surrounding the selected node smooth. This makes the handles move together in angle direction, but allows them to move freely in length.
9. Make node symmetrical: Click the button to make the curves surrounding the selected node symmetrical. This makes both handles constrain to the same length and move in the same directional angle, creating symmetrical curves.
10. Make node a cusp: Click the button to make the selected node a cusp. This makes the two handles come together to create a sharp cusp at the node.
