This quilt/wallhanging is entitled “When Warhol Met Steno.” I am a former court reporter, now doing closed captioning for the hearing impaired. I was asked to submit a quilt as a fundraising item for the United States Court Reporters Association, an association for federal court reporters. I was inspired by Andy Warhol’s “Marilyn” and my love of steno. I made a few changes in placement and binding and used lettered fabric instead of plain white fabric, but I was amazed how the finished product looked almost exactly like the EQ project. I am the designer, maker, and quilter, but I would like to thank Michelle Miller at EZDepo.com for allowing me to use the steno clipart in my design.
