It was my first EQ design that I did as soon as I received it after pre-ordering online. I was so excited. I found it very easy to use. This quilt has been my friend who followed me everywhere between May 2010 and September 2011! 350 hexagons of 3 inches giving it 54″ X 66″ Basted, pieced and quilted by hand. I used freezing paper for the english method. I pieced the border by machine and Free Hand Motion quilted them.

I love the way you have staggered your placement. I hope you dont mind, I have barrowed your idea and I am making a cushion for my livingroom. I am using a hex with a .5 inch edge – 1 inch square. They are makeing up great.

Bonjour Sharon, I don’t mind in fact I am honored!! Since posting my quilt on the gallery, I won the “Judge’s choice” of Sheila Wintle at the CQQ Salon 2012 in Montreal. I was ecstatic. I really would like see your cushion. Your hexagons sound microscopic!!!
