Four Elements By Barbara Oakley
Here’s an entry for the quilt gallery that I designed using EQ6. The title is “Four Elements.” I designed and completed all the work myself. I had several sources of inspiration for this wall hanging. I wanted to work more with circles and curves. I wanted to use some of my stash and scrap collection. I wanted something to commemorate the design of my wedding invitations. And I especially wanted to try out the techniques I’d been learning from a book on thread calligraphy – in addition to seeing an EQ design to completion. I’m really pleased with the results!

what an awesome quilt. I like doing things other than regular block designs; like landscapes, pictorial and such. I also want to do some quilts that I call healing quilts (ones that would inspire healing within one’s self, getting in touch with nature, that sort of thing.) maybe even some prayer flags. I just purchased EQ7 and haven’t had time to even ope the box. You inspired me and now I can’t wait to learn how to use this program to create my new quilts.
