This wallhanging is 30″ x 36″. I machine embroidered the letters of the alphabet on snowball blocks, then used clear vinyl to make pockets for each letter. My granddaughter Izzy puts items or pictures in the pockets that start with the correct letter.(There is a penny in the P pocket.) She cuts out pictures from coloring books, or draws them, or uses toys or objects to put in the pockets. She enjoys singing the alphabet song while “reading” the letters.

Thanks, Susan. My 2 year old grandson (Izzy’s little brother) is already reading the letters from it, just by mimicking Izzy when she “reads” the letters, and as she’s really learning to read now, she comes up with new ideas for filling the pockets.
