1 inch square for pattern measuring

I have the EQ6 version.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to add a 1 inch square to the pattern before printing to use as a size-checker. At the moment I have to print out the Template patterns then draw on a 1 inch square.

I hope this makes sense. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry but there is no way to add a 1" square to a pattern.
Templates should always be accurate if the printer is printing correctly in both directions.

Since each model printer uses different components the only way to determine the printing dimension accuracy is to test it out by printing a graphic with known dimensions and then measuring it. So print a 6" x 6" square. If it measures 6" x 6" then your printer is printing accurately.
