The fox is the focal point of the city logo, which is shown in the medallion on the quilt. The grass fabric in the borders represents the prairie, since Illinois is the “Prairie State.”

Hi Barb,
I love this row. It brings back fond memories of when I lived in Batavia, not very far from the Fox River. My son was born in St. Charles (Delnor Hospital.) We live in Florida now and don’t miss the cold winters.

Wow Barb, these are great. And such clever titles. Showing some love for your area! Fox River ran through my home town of Waukesha, Wisconsin too. I used to iceskate on it.
