I liked Bea Lee’s Sphere quilt and started with a similar idea, but ended up with this medallion-type quilt with a strong centre (could be a styalized eagle or spaceship – slashed album block).  I love the dancing stars as a border and the Arkansas snowflake outer border.  Half-square and plain blocks are the other EQ blocks used. Great challenge for ideas!
