New Quilt University Class

Posted 01-09-2009 by Sarah | Posted in: Uncategorized

EQ quilt designer and teacher Lily Kerns wrote us about a new class she will be teaching on Quilt University called Super Sue and we thought you might want to check it out. Posted 01-05-2009 by Sarah | Posted in: Uncategorized

While in Houston for Quilt Festival, I met Rachel Hirsch and we talked about printable fabrics and some great uses for them. Then Rachel told me about a memory quilt she was making for her friend in memory of her daughter Chelsea. I asked her to send me a photo when it was finished… and she did! So I wanted to share the memory of Chelsea with all of you. Rachel did a great job on this quilt.

Lynda Remmers and Annie Moody wrote us to tell their story about how they use EQ6 to flourish their business and we thought we’d share it with you. “My first glimpse at Electric Quilt was at Spring Quilt Market in Utah last year. I took a school house class and was amazed at how much EQ would help us out in designing our product. We use EQ to of course design the blocks, but it has the additional advantage of saving the image to import into out digitizing software. My daytime job is the owner of two sewing machine dealerships in Woodstock and Carpentersville Illinois. Our customers love the addition of EQ in the digitizing classes we offer. My sister and I have a new small company called hoopsisters.com. We design and digitize quilts that stitch out in embroidery machines. Hoopsisters.com has an EmbroidaBlock of the month program we sell
