Club EQ is a free club any EQ user can join, simply by using EQ to design a quilt. Club leader, Barb Vlack, presents monthly challenges. Those EQ users who join the challenge (and the fun) send in a project file. These projects are displayed together on our website. Participants receive projects from all the other challenge participants that month. So send in one project file, and receive many more in return! No sewing necessary! This month’s challenge is: Red & White Nine Patches! Here is what users have sent in so far… Before you send in your project please check out the rules. And as always, feel free to contact us with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org or 419-352-1134. Have fun!
Perfect project for the weekend! Our featured EQ Artist, Joanna Figueroa of Fig Tree & Co. designed a project for all of our EQ7 users! Read her tips and inspiration below and download! Don’t forget to tell us what you think! “Hello everyone! Hope you enjoy our simple little charm pack project, Pinwheel Pops. I took one of my favorite mini charm patterns, Tootsie Pops, and thought it would look great a little bit bigger made with my favorite charm packs instead of mini charms. All you will need to make this quilt is (2) 5″ charm packs, some cream background yardage and border fabric for this 62 1/2″ square quilt. I recommend cutting the charm packs in half, piecing the triangles with matching cream triangles and then trimming the resulting square down to 4″ even. That way you will end up with 10 1/2″ pinwheels when finished. Hope you

It talks about photo editing, drawing applique blocks and foundation blocks, photo patchwork quilts, using photos in quilts and more! On the Modern Quilts Unlimited website they have a lesson that accompanies the article. You can also download EQ7 projects that include the blocks and quilts too! Check it out!

I just love it so much.” You can also check out her website for a tutorial and a PDF version of the block. Thanks for the projects, ladies!
