This is fabulous! Just the Stash downloads alone make it a great value! I use EQ for designing award winning quilts for shows as well as magazine patterns, patterns in my Dragonfly line and online mysteries. It just keeps getting better! My fabulous Harlequin quilt was completely designed in EQ8 and will be featured in the AQS 2025 Engagement Calendar as well as the 2025 AQS national shows.

The Membership program sounds perfect for Hardcore EQ8ers.
I am a dabbler, at best. Don’t really design around specific lines of fabric. I rely on general color ideas and then go to the fabric store to choose my fabrics.
However, I would absolutely pay an extra fee for access to an updated, expanded default fabric palette. I’ve tried to use the color palette (because it certainly has more shades available), but I find that if I usee too many colors in a project, some color options drop off of the bar of colors and then I have a heck of a time finding the color from the whole list. Maybe a future options to save colors/fabrics to a current project – with its own little color bar of colors/fabrics used in the current project.
Like I said, I am a dabbler, maybe this already exists and I just don’t know it. Less than a year until retirement and then I will school myself in the fun things to do in EQ8.
Thanks for listening!!!

That sounds great! You would think that I would have enough EQ for all the work I do since I’m retired and EQ is a hobby, but I do think that this will be a good club to enroll in. No one around me works with EQ, so being able to talk about it with people who also enjoy the program and all the associated software will be a bonus!

I have seen a lot of changes since I purchased my EQ7 many years ago, unfortunately not for the good. EQ7 came with a huge manual that covered everything. For EQ8 you sell the “how to books” extra. AccuQuilt Go are sold as Addon. And yes, today you still have free projects but your newsletters are mostly filled with extra things you are selling. What happen to the craft where homemakers made quilts with whatever they had available. I’m sad to see you are hoping on the quilting industry bandwagon of upselling more & expensive gizmos. I would not pay extra for something I already paid for when I originally purchased EQ7.
