scraps

It’s spring, and you know what that means… cleaning! We’ve come up with a fun and easy way to help you use up those old scrap fabrics laying around: a sewing challenge using ONLY your scrap fabrics!

You have 1 month!

It’s very simple; here are the steps:

  1.  Choose a design from the EQ quilts below.
  2.  Download and open it in your EQ7.
  3.  Color it to match your scrap fabric stash.
  4.  Sew your quilt to match the layout.
  5.  Submit a photo of the sewn quilt.
  6.  Leave a comment to state which quilt design you chose.

Rules:

  • You must follow the design exactly.
(Do not make changes or add borders to the design.)
  • You must use ONLY scrap fabrics.
(We know we can’t prove this, but we trust that we can rely on our users to comply. :-D )
  • Finished quilt photos must be submitted by the deadline: Sunday, May 31.
(Quilts must be finished with binding to be eligible.)
  • One submission per person. EQ7 users only.
(Need help submitting your photo? See below.)
