I really like the way EQ6 & 7 have allowed me to see how things will look before I put all the work in piecing or quilting! Thanks!
I made this queen sized quilt for my youngest daughter, Karen, who desperately wanted something I had hand quilted. With her input, I designed this quilt with one star different from all the others. That star represents her, and I named it “Stand Out!” – both as an encouragement to and a description of her. She is a musician so treble clefs and notes had to be involved! Treble clefs are quilted in the light petals of the stand out star and the green diamonds of the patchwork border. Eighth notes are quilted in the dark petals of the stand out star and the tan diamonds of the patchwork border. The final border has a scroll design that I drew in EQ7. It took me a year to design, piece and quilt it.
