I was inspired by a very personal nautical theme, the graphic design on oars. The nautical colors are great for this project with the traditional white, blue, and red, but different color combinations also give the block a great look. This block will provide you with many possibilities for quilt top design. This block is constructed using foundation paper piecing to achieve the thin lines.
