This quilt was inspired by Spikey, the plant that lives on the corner of my desk.  Spikey usually lives an unassuming little life, but occasionally she bursts forth into glorious bloom.  This quilt celebrates Spikey in all her glory when she is showing off.

EQ7 made the design process for Cactus Flower fun and easy.  Designing the blocks for the different sections was very straightforward and the quilt went together exactly as I envisioned!  It was easy to experiment with different color and fabric combinations.  I love the results and the pattern has been very successful for Jazz Cat Designs!
