I designed and made this quilt using EQ6. It was donated to my DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Chapter as a fund raiser with all proceeds going to support our Veteran/Military projects. The drawing was May 5th and my new step-daughter was the winner. In addition, it was entered into the DAR Fiber Arts contest and just won FIRST place in the National competition. The quilt will be displayed in the DAR Museum the last week of June in Washington, DC.

The name of the quilt is “American Pride” and my inspiration was the tenth anniversary of September 11th. I used embroidery, paper piecing and applique techniques in making the quilt. The paper piecing blocks are from EQ.
